Mister Oogie Boogie > Gaston

Those alien guys from Lilo and Stitch > Gaston

That bad CGI face from Tron > Gaston

On principle, Batty I don't torrent Disney content... experimental record label archives are one thing but there are just too many eyes on the corporate stuff for me to feel comfortable even with precautions in place.

There's only one way I'd have access to their catalog. *Heads to a thrift store in search of clamshell VHS tapes and a CRT+VCR combo console*

That's stupid. Unless you think they're going to invade your thoughts without wearing a tinfoil hat then calm the **** down and watch **** you want to watch. There are ways to torrent **** that keep your ISP secret, so shut up and quit with the bull****. Your principles are probably just arbitrary tbh.

Oh but if you can just get physical copies of he movies then I'll still roll my eyes at you, but at least you'll still have access to some of he best movies ever made. So do that.

Everything is worth watching to form an opinion on, even ICP'S movies. Don't limit yourself just because you've recognized a preference. In order to recognize good, we must also know evil or something cerebral to that effect.

Plus, even if they are overrated, Disney films are a big enough cultural touchstone to justify watching them. I think The Batlord is way too into it and I don't think that any of them with the exception of Fantasia would be meaningful to you, but I think that the bigger Disney films are something that you should be aware of. Also, if you do end up getting into any, you'll weep tears of joy on all of the merch to geek out on.

Oh ****, I just remembered that I have all of that **** on an external hard drive in glorious 1080p so I'd be totally happy to upload all of it to you.

Don't trust Batlord. He promises Disney, and then sends you clown porn.

Batty I am no novice to filesharing. I'm perfectly adept at using VPNs, secure torrents, the recent iteration of Kodi, private top sites, and other reliable methods. I'm also very familiar with the tactic of honeypots and understand that occasionally a poison seed works its way through all the checkpoints and consequently a few users get burned. I'm just not interested enough in major motion pictures to entertain that risk. (I've seen three movies in the last two years.)

I can always borrow someone's copies if I really feel like a viewing. Most people's parents have the stuff in one medium or another.

Now Frown makes an excellent point. The films are a large enough component of the collective public consciousness that warrant my taking part. I'll get around to them if/when the mood strikes. Thanks, everyone.

For megatorrent transfers I prefer sneakernetting. In trade, I'd offer my absurdly complete filmography of everything Jim Henson ever did in his life from his experimental college art film forward. Cheers!

Sounds intriguing. I'll take you up on that soon. What's your best way of getting several gigs uploaded? I've never uploaded nearly that much.

The Jim Henson Collection is 75GB. The Complete MST3K is 155GB. The Rifftrax library was at 104 when I stopped collecting several years ago.

But sneakernetting means you walk up to me and hand me a hard drive. Never in a million years would I trade libraries of that size p2p, much less after an open discussion on a public forum. There are far more practical ways of acquiring large collections. Fortunately, the ones I've mentioned are readily available everywhere online. Take a look around and you'll find them.

Remember kids: Filesharing is bad.
