I thought I heard that also. Fetcher/Kayleigh has the worst luck with driving apparently. I'm sure she will work it out.

I know, my luck is ****ing terrible right now and I'm not even a bad driver, I grew up with two mechanic brothers so I'm pretty into cars. :(

Yeah that was another guy last week who ran into me. But last month my car slipped out of gear when parked and I didn't turn my wheels into the kerb... So my car rolled into a dudes van and now I owe him money.

I have a meeting with the CEO and manager of my part time job, they are deciding whether I'm allowed to stay past the 90 day trial that the stupid government put in. I have had a few days off because of being in hospital etc but they might decide that it's not good enough. I really hope I get to stay.

My parents have a 94 Dodge Caravan in the driveway, but nobody lives in it  It's in great condition though - no rust, drives beautifully, and the odometer only just turned over to 100,000 Kms which is REALLY good for a 19 year old car.

Well, really, all 19 year old cars can be that good if you don't drive them much.

I really like the old Caravans - they were like real vans but mini as opposed to many of the ugly soccer-mom style minivans. Your post reminded me of when, in the 90s, I seriously considered buying one, taking out the back seats, and spending a few years driving around the Western Hemisphere with my cat.

Spent most of today either staring at my new axe with adoration or playing it. I've wanted an archtop hollow or semi-hollow for so long, and this one is gorgeous on top of being pretty cost-effective.

I may upgrade the pickups when I get my tax return. I'm trying to decide between a Golden 50 in the neck and a Pearly Gates in the bridge, or going for Benedetto pick-ups and blowing a good deal of my tax return on those.

Nice! I've always been a fan of hollow bodies as well. Pics?

Here she is:

Shiny and hard to photograph, but I assure you, she's even more gorgeous in person, and she sounds better than I could have hoped for. Oscar Schmidt, but essentially a Gibson 335 clone that sounds (and looks!) better than an Epiphone Dot.

Successfully crashed 4/5 of my classes as of today, had a fantastic jam session/practice with the group, and only ate soup today. On a serious note, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Today was my first day of really, actively not doing actual work while at work, at this particular job.
The obvious benefit is that my job involves me sitting behind a computer all day. I think I have chosen the perfect profession.

Ask her when she's due?

Last night our protein cook sliced off the tips of two of his fingers during service. The Terrordome consumes all.

My shoes got really muddy yesterday so I had to wear my dress shoes to work with jeans and a blue shirt. My name is mud.

I was browsing around here, and while looking away to address cat issues, I looked back and was on a post and there was a really small bug climbing around, seemingly in/on the screen. I was like, "aww I ain't gonna fall for that". But then I realized it was in the post section. So I was sitting there thinking how one can achieve an animated png file that allows transparency, which doesn't exist as far as I know.

Then I was thinking of replying to this person about how they managed to do that, then, suddenly, the bug flew off my screen and disappeared somewhere in my apartment.

It was at this moment that I realized I spend far too much time on the internet.

you can have a transparent animated file, it just can't be a png.

It turns out I did some drunk middle of the night texting to a friend... my day will be spent explaining the messages I think..

What a difference three plus years make.

Rice 01-27-2013 09:32 AM

She's a cutey!

I remember it took about 4years for my old dog to really settle down and become the great friend he was.

I have a little puppy - just over 5months... I love the puppyness, but cannot wait until she's 3-4 years.

Why is it wearing a shirt?

ThePhanastasio 01-27-2013 09:21 PM

I keep getting friend requests from people I went to high school with on Facebook. Got another one today, from the one girl I did not get along with in high school (I took her starting spot on the softball team when I switched positions to hers.)

Anyway, they all keep messaging me with, "I haven't seen you in forever! What have you been into? We should catch up!" and I'm all like, nice about it...but I'm really thinking, "We rarely if ever even spoke in high school. Why does it really matter what I've been up to, and why do/should you really care?"

Yeah, always think - If I didn't talk to you in high school, what makes you think I want to talk to you now?

Exactly! I'm not a mean person, but it's like, we clearly had nothing in common in high school, or we would have spoken then. What's the point in being like, "Oh, I remember going to high school with this person I never spoke to. I wonder if we're still complete polar opposites?"

"She" is a little ****ing princess. She loves that sh*t. We get her them because it makes her happy. Think that's gay? She can dislocate my shoulder if she wanted too. She can where all the gay dog clothing she wants because she's part pit bull and she'll put a doggie foot up your ass and mine just cause she wants too. I'm scared when I sleep but also grateful she lets me live. ****, she's looking right at me...I gotta go.

...I was just wondering if there was a specific reason the dog was wearing a shirt.
Thanks for providing such an insight...
