Thanks, I try not to be a tool for the most part. I just have a knack for making mistakes that can really impact my life.

It's only fair that you be able to take her criticism as you posted it publicly and given the circumstances (she was getting chemo). I'm not judging ATM - just saying.

oh honey, not to sound like an *******, but you are soo, young... you will continue to make mistakes, and grow from them until you die...Would you really want to make superfluous mistakes?

I mean give me the big ones... any day, the ones that will help me grow and aspire to be the best version of myself I can be... I want to become a reconstructed masterpiece... Being a person of many mistakes, and many more still to come.. I say this from experience....

A crying woman actually is traffic ticket deterrent. Who knew?

I wasn't crying to get out of the ticket; I was stressed out, had overslept, the client was in from Wisconsin (and had just told me the day previous that "tardiness is (his) number one pet peeve." I was going five over the speed limit, and someone merged and cut me off. I stuck my middle finger out the window, and guess who saw that middle finger and thought it was directed at him? Yes, it was a cop.

Dude hits his SIREN and his lights, and I pulled over right then and there so that he'd have nothing else against me.

I pulled out all of my information and handed it to him, but began having a minor panic attack (did he REALLY have to hit the siren?) and crying. I tried to compose myself, and he went back to his car. He sat there for thirty minutes, head in hands. He came back and handed me my license, registration, and insurance information.

He was like, "Here's your stuff. Just drive safe. Don't get in an accident." Then got in his car and quickly drove off. No written warning. No ticket. Nothing.

I was REALLY ****ing late, though.

I was completely ready to accept criticism, but with criticism, I'd also appreciate a few words of wisdom. Instead she wants to try to pull as many laughs as possible with her witty attitude and I didn't appreciate it.

I am young, really young. I somehow feel like I'm just maturing too quickly though. Probably not, but I gain too much knowledge too soon. My problems 20 years from now will be much more grave, but the problems seem to impact me more than they should? Am I making sense or am I rambling?

CrazyVegn 06-21-2013 10:14 PM

For the record I don't find anything about your situation funny at all but to call her a B does not help you look any better after what happened, you know what I mean? Some girls like that, others don't.

I put the word there, but I refrained and took it off. Look, I'm not trying to be rude, I was just looking for a little advice and maybe some personal experience. I'm going through a slight rough patch right now and I'm very easily irritable. But Hermione, if you're reading this, I apologize. I actually enjoy your presence. I'm tired people, thanks for all the great advice. G'night.

No problem. Any updates on this? Is this your final decision to pass on it? If the hiatus is even a possibility and you know that you'd be able to go right back to the same position that you left then go for it!

My turn today and I managed 17 miles which is the second highest distance so far. Not bad for an unfit golden oldie and shame on the 20 year olds at my place who were beaten ;)

Lot's of negative things have happened over the last few days but achieving that today is a good highlight so let's focus on the positives.

17 miles? how long did that take you to get done?

Yes you make perfect sense sweetie... and maturing to quickly, I don't think so...because you wouldn't be where you are, if you weren't supposed to be there...does that make sense? You will find the older you get things fall away... for example the things that were important to me when I was 18 didn't mean **** to me when I was 22 the things that were important to me at 22 definitely didn't matter at 25, and now that I am going to be 29 in August the things that bothered me at 25, I can't even remember what they were... I think its all relative to your situation, truly I do... no one, not even you can say you are feeling to much emotion over a situation.... Because emotions are unfiltered, intangible concepts...so how you are feeling is, is what you are supposed to be feeling at this particular moment... so remember what I told you..... ;) hope you feel better today... and better still tomorrow...

Love Roxy~

I have to agree with Hermz here. You're pretty rad Roxy, don't stop being so.

Today is a jazz sorta day... maybe I'll get something done, and maybe I won't. I'll probably lay in bed and read. As much as I love traveling Nicaragua and doing my thing, living my life, it gets pretty tiring. I need to enjoy these quiet days when I have them... which is rarely.

I stepped inside of an FYE yesterday and it felt like such an alien experience to me. It's been super long since I have actually bought an album then I came to the dilemma of having to choose which album I thought was worthy enough of owning a copy. I went through my head scanning album titles and artists. At one point I felt like I was walking through a museum from yesteryear. This guy picked up an album and I gave him some info on it since I had already heard it and the first thing that comes out of the guy's mouth is that he's going to download it first to give it a try instead of picking up the copy in his hand and purchasing it.

Its so funny hearing the older generation use the word "HULLABALOO" in their thick Irish accents. The word is completely lost on my generation. They are using it in the office as I type this.

"He made an absolute HULLABALOO of de office, he feckkin wrecked the place, all togeder"

You need to slow your roll Roxy dearest. There is a time and place to be young wild and free.

RoxyRollah 06-24-2013 04:15 AM

Wild and free, oh no not so much more like backed into a corner and torn up by the thing that I love.... and trying not to quit what I love doing... I warned them 2 weeks ago that the snap was gonna come and ppl played with me thinking I was cute or whatever...and it kinda happened I am not proud of it... To add insult to injury my bosses mother died, I gave him a card in the am , and in the afternoon he thanked me for the card and then told me here is your write up, and proceed to yell at me... who can do that? A seriously disturbed individual...

Ultimately, I won't be quitting my job after all. Keith (our drummer) and Brian (from Convoy, the band we'll be opening for) are such good friends that they are willing to do what ever it takes to get this going, and from what Keith says, I'm the one he wants playing lead. So, basically we'll be opening for Convoy when they play in the area, which includes Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. When they get to Daytona next year, I'll be taking some well deserved vacation time.
