A couple of months ago it went down to 3 °C. Terribly cold and psycho windy. Right now it's a mild motionless chill. Kinda nice actually. We'll be passing into spring real soon too. :)

Got three really painful splinters today, but on the bright side I have finished digging my swimming pool! Fun in the sun.


That man is one of the biggest LADs in the country. I don't even like the monarchy, but he's just too awesome not to like despite any political reservations. I really hope his condition improves because I'm sure he's got another five years or so of hilarious antics left.

Went and saw the 1973 animated French scifi film, Fantastic Planet and then saw a local feminist punk band, Julie Of The Wolves, with a lady friend of mine. The film involved at least a few orgies. The band was freaking fantastic. Then, we ate at the famous Louisville hipster/anarchist/hole-in-the-wall pizzeria Spinelli's. Good night.

Well, this is my last day before I go to school. I made the most of it by sitting around the house and watching movies all day. Carpe fucking diem.

I've still got another two weeks before I go back.

I spent the day with the kids and grandkids. We made waffles. Watched the Nascar race. Grilled burgers. Most have gone home or to bed now.

Same, it's my first and last day off before I start college :) and I have done absolutely nothing.

made some immense progress in "Skyrim" (bought a house, completed 3 quests)

went for supper, checked out some wacky Malay chicks

now about to get some late night reading done

Spending the day doing some job searching yet again. I have a meeting with a temp agency tomorrow and i'm hoping something good comes out of it. If anything, it's a step up.

So I went to class today and somehow I landed a temp job as a professor at my college, and will be teaching Operating Systems this semester. They're giving me 30 an hour, but unfortunately I only teach for 6 hours a week since it's just the one class. I'll probably be doing that for a while and hopefully take on more classes if they still need me next semester.
It's not what I was looking for, but it will do for now. And I guess it will look good on my resume', too.

First day of classes today, had Political Science and Journalism (my minor and major, respectively) and they didn't seem that bad from the introductory day. I'll probably be bitching and moaning about it somewhere down the line, but that's me. When I got home I fell down the stairs and hit my forehead really hard (there's a cut where I hit the banister) and I hit my wrist where there's going to be a horrible bruise I can tell. Luckily I didn't get a concussion or anything, so I guess there's that. About an hour ago, I finally got the balls to buy a tenor saxophone like I've wanting to for about a year now, and since I won a few hundred at the races, it wasn't as financially traumatizing. Well I've finally come face to face with Becky the prositute Derek brought back before we swapped rooms...the one who occaisionally shouts up at my window obviously still thinking he's still in this room. He's been trying to avoid her but somehow she got in the house last night and knocked on the door.
