It helps that I enjoy regular golf as well even though Frownland is a poopy doo doo head about golfers.

Golfers can fall into a sand trap for all I care but it's still a chill, relaxing way to spend an afternoon. If I could pick up a set of clubs for cheap at a garage sale and there was a cheap (public even?) golf course near me I'd probably give regular golfing a shot so long as I could "accidentally" slice a ball into the woods and have no one ask me what that smell was when I came out ten minutes later.

I'd like to think it's possible to maintain reasonable courses without all that **** but if not then I'll betray my principles for a round every now and again.

We got plenty of water over here and the gold course means that acres of land are going to be maintained and preserved so a Costco doesn't go up in its place. I'm cool with that. So what if a few old white dudes hit a ball on it during the day. Most golfers are beautiful parks. Nothing wrong with that. Golf courses in California however are a bit trickier with the whole homeless tent cities and no water business.

It affects other places too, the article goes pretty in depth on that. Might as well be one of the Koch brothers if you're going to play golf. On a gold course no less smh.

I can't tell if you know your link went right to your bandcamp page and you're f*cking with me or you don't know you linked your bandcamp page with your reply.
