right so when I was comparing the two I was doing so in an American context. Obviously being gay in certain parts of the world is worse than being black in America.

I was using the American context cause the f word is English and I believe only gained it's current connotations within the last century or so in America. So it doesn't have the same kind of legacy the n word has in our culture.

It still does have a bad legacy. But it is also used in other ways where as the n word is strictly a slur for a black person. There is no other way to use it.

Those other uses of the f word have recently within the last two decades or so started to become culturally taboo. But they're still in common usage in many places, including the hood. Which is where I used it. Now, is that right? No. But it was a heated moment. I'm bisexual was directing it at a straight black guy just to piss him off because they're tends to be a certain insecurity in the black community over sexuality. Not that that's right. But it's not the same thing as targeting a gay person walking down the street imo. So I don't feel that bad about it.

Long story short when I'm heated like that I talk to them in the language and terms they understand. To me that's not a time to change hearts and minds it's a time to go in.
