The drinking age really doesn't stand for much over here. On college campuses cops are more concerned with the safety of the students rather than if they're drunk and underaged. And besides, most of us have found friends who are 21+ and are willing to buy it for us.

EDIT: Just got home from a work meeting to find a crowd of men on my roof, tearing down our chimney. I love the level of communication in my family.

Well, a pretty darn good day! My other half signed up to start school online, which I was pretty excited about for her... she's a smart girl, and she deserves to have something to show for it!

Other than that it was sunny, nice and warm, and I am finally working myself into a good routine with the School job during the day... all in all, stuff is good!

Legal age here is actually optional to follow in pubs and clubs. But in shops it's always welcomed for little kids to buy alcohol and packs of cigarettes [but usually kids buy them for their parents]

I've started an intensive English course yesterday [I have to get a degree in English from Georgetown University, I don't really know why] So I have to wake up at 6:00a.m everyday. But I'm surprised it's not annoying me, the classes are actually nice. It's the first English teacher that actually talks English.
[My last teacher kept repeating the two sentences "What are you?dumdum?" and "You your head baloney!"]
But I don't know why this one is really over-loving me, it is becoming a bit scary.

my mum has this thing where the rooms all weird, took her to the doctors, he called it "spinny room" i think that was just his slang term, its awful for her, she has to hold on to my arm all the time. but a course of whatever the tablets are & she should be as good as new in about a week, yaaay

getting my hair done at 2pm also, im rather excited

, havent been near the hairdressers since my prom in june! june the 6th may i add. longlong time.

day shift tomorrow so this friday night should be pretty ****!

Not day necessarily but it's my first week of college. Got a new laptop and phone so I'm looking pretty technological at the moment. Spanish class in an hour then the weekend begins.

I almost had a HUGE ROYAL FUCK UP at work today! Actually, I did have a HUGE ROYAL FUCK UP, but I was able to get it fixed. See what happened was that I was trying to make a new website live...and prior to changing some configurations, I needed to delete the old site files (that were backed up), and move the new site and database to the root directory. Well somehow when deleting the old site, I deleted the new site and database, EVERYTHING!!!

Everything poof gone! JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! OMG!! This stuff was NOT backed up, as it didn't really have a reason to be, I was just going to move it from one folder to another. But anyway to make a long story short I jumped on the phone with the host and said HELP MOTHER FUCKER I ACCIDENTALLY DELETED MY FILEZ OH NOES!!! And so in his usual calm voice he said hmm email me the path to the directory and I'll see if there's a backup. IF THERE'S A BACKUP! I said cool, I know it's late Friday so just take a look when you can, at least the old site is still up. I was nearly ****ting bricks though because if these files are lost, that means a good solid week of work to rebuild it. Working on nothing but THAT. So I'm like am I gonna have a ****ty weekend, thinking about this? This is bad! My boss will be mad! The account manager will be mad, the CLIENT will be mad!

I will be mad and sad. SO I'm having dinner at the computer (I got some Chinese food) and I decide to check the site, maybe the files were restored, and HOLY ****ING **** it is there! The files have been restored! My ass is NOT grass, I will live!!! Now I can have a more relaxing weekend.

Aside from that it was a chill day, I even laid out by the lake on my lunch break and read a bit, same just after work, after this disaster happened and I was worried...had to try to decompress. Anyway **** I've typed too much. I'm supposed to go to bed early tonight, going to hike on Mt. Rainier tomorrow early. No time for a movie I guess. Who the fuck cares? I'd be surprised if anyone's still reading at this point. And I just came from the thread about swearing so I felt like swearing a lot.
