If there was something wrong with the eggs you likely would have known.

'Best by' isn't 'use by'. The diarrhoea wasn't caused by eggs that were 'a bit past' the best by date. It was more likely caused by something else you ate, boozing or poor hygiene.

As longs as eggs smell ok you can eat them (I think)
