I tried to clear my head and give it a fresh chance but the idiotic assclown nature of these phony bitches trying so hard to be what they aren’t makes me feel embarrassed for them and frankly for people who have been hoodwinked by this garbage. It sucks. Terrible bull**** and I’m done with this band forever. 1/5 lowest rating.

With The Residents, you just have to trust them. It’ll take you there but you have to recognize it’s beyond a personal critical assessment. Forgo judgement and approach it like you would an experience with nature instead of art. Just let it happen.

That’s where I’ve had my big breakthroughs with other bands but for now it’s on pause

My fav Residents album is Coochie Brake from 2011. Has an interesting free jazz influence at times and a sort of Gothic Southern flavor, along with pretty good production values.

I thought I responded to this. My post was a word for word repost of a post you made on Coltrane or something. Though I do think they're worth the time, you don't have to push yourself to like The Residents if you can't stand them, there's plenty of other music to enjoy.
