It's supposed to take place in '88, so there's a bunch of late 80's music that could have been in a high school type movie from back then. Wasn't a bunch of bands I'd listen to, so i guess that means the soundtrack must have been good, right?

I've heard rumors that the dude that directed Kong: Skull Island (which is a badass fucking film) was in talks to direct a Metal Gear movie. Fingers crossed. I just have a sinking feeling it would turn out shitty.

There's always that chance with video game movies. Hell I didn't think Prince of Persia was nearly as bad as people thought. It was enjoyable at least. That'd be dope though. They'd just have to really pull off Snake in order for any of it to work.
