As for Dishonored - unless you absolutely have to ply it now, I'd wait for the GOTY edition.

That's my plan for Dishonored, either GOTY or I'm expecting a price drop before Christmas.

As for X-Com, my initial impression was that they simplified things but the reality is they just streamlined it. I've been trying Classic difficulty with Ironman mode and it's brutal. Maps seem a bit smaller than I remember but that's proving to be a good thing, it was never fun to have to slowly scour a map trying to find the one last alien.

The combat interface seems to have been designed with a console in mind but not necessarily as the primary input method, it just seems like it would work smoothly the exact same way across all platforms. Not a big fan of the 1 global base method either but whatever.

Either way it's a definite pick-up for anyone who enjoyed the classic X-Com games.

Is anyone familiar with GTA4 mods? I figure this game and it's expansions deserve at least one full playthrough before 5 is out.

Getting The Sims 3 and all the expansions would have cost me a few hundred pounds if I was a morally upstanding citizen. Yeah, they're total crooks.

You know how some people like to joke about the EA Sports games being the same game just with updated uniforms and rosters? Well apparently the Wii-version of Fifa 13 is actually just that, no major overhauls that the 360 or PS3 versions got, just Fifa 12 with new jerseys, rosters, and opening title.

Well the vast majority of stuff that gets released on the Wii that isn't made by Nintendo is complete shovelware so I'm not surprised.
