That was pretty dire, I had to watch it in the cinema as well. Absolutely terrible.

Ugh. Isn't Emma Roberts the niece of Julia Roberts or something?

Have to agree 100% with The Lovely Bones. Good call. The novel >>>>>> the movie. Well I guess that goes for a lot of books made into films, but this movie didn't do the book justice at all. The story didn't move along well and there was just too much CGI overall.

While I wont deny that it was incredibly amusing, it was also utterly shit. Good fun though, the casual anvil attached to the ceiling was a total winner

Nice shout downward.

I've gotta admit, I was worried you'd wig out and say you loved it. 2 hours plus of my life that I will never retrieve. Fuck the world.

Clash of the motha ****ing Titans remake

Worst 3D experience of my life. I will forgive Neeson and Finnes but I cannot forget.

That's right Tommy Wiseau of "The Room" fame. The difference is that in this one he's actually trying to be funny and therefore, it isn't funny.

Landonjohnes 12-27-2010 09:54 AM

The list of worst movie are as under:-
1. Shanghai Surprise.
2. Scooby Doo.
3. Ghosts Can't Do It.
4. The Apple.
5. Bolero.

What are you talking about?! I think I laughed more here than I did during the room. SUCH a hilarious movie, intentional or not.

khfreek 12-31-2010 09:26 PM

Eh, maybe it was cause I was by myself. I watched about 20 minutes and turned it off.

Ska Lagos Jew Sun Ra 01-01-2011 09:49 AM

Alone In The Dark... couldn't even laugh at it.

DeathBreath 01-01-2011 11:44 AM

2012 and the Twilight movies.
'Nuff said.

poppie 01-01-2011 05:29 PM

I think this movie is about one of the worst movie i had ever seen!
a movie called duel with dennis weaver, a 1971 thriller
about a driver being harassed by an oil truck and you never see the truck drivers face through the whole film!.

^ Just about the worst sci-fi sequel ever. I love the original, and this manages to piss all over it within literally the first 10-15 minutes.

http://www.filmofilia.com/wp-content...er-405x600.jpg

^ And here's far and away the worst film I saw last year. You'd think the crossing of Paranormal Activity with alien abductions would be pretty cool, it at least the cheesy sense, but no. I was really excited about this movie when I first heard about, and I was left with probably the most boring film I've seen in years. Apart from that, it's pretentious as hell, and there's a certain storytelling device it goes for that just completely rips any hint of tension out of the thing.

This film's not good, basically.

Yeah...I was pretty psyched to see this one too, before it was released in theatres. So disappointing.

That's Steven Spielberg's first movie and it's fucking fantastic, certainly not worthy of a "worst" vote.

It was his third, wasn't it?

I agree, Duel is one of my favorite films and a perfect example of how well one can work without a score.

Haha, I actually saw that one in the theater. Needless to say I was disappointed as all hell. I remember being amazed that, beyond being a simply an awful movie, it actually managed somehow make the original movie, which I loved, worse.

the clips I saw didn't look bad, and the twist didn't sound that stupid. but after The Last Airbender I don't think Mr. Shymanlan deserves my time.

I've never seen The Last Airbender but the man has made some great movies in his day.

The acting was just really bad. Wahlberg blew hard.

Can't fing the clip I was looking for (it's when the Hispanic guy and Wahlberg decide to go seperate ways and it's really over-dramatic on Wahlberg's part) but here's what I'm talking about:

Not a good role for Marky Mark. He's way too over-dramatic throughout the entire thing. I just hated the movie. Unfortunately, my old room mate was a chronic bad movie watcher and I've watched way more bad ones than good ones.

Another movie I thought sucked:

I had the misfortune of watching it last week with my 8-year old nephew. I was tired at the time, so that was a good thing.

The movie still sucked.

I don't get all the M. Night Shyamalan hate. I never saw "The Last Airbender", but I have seen most of his movies and they're fairly enjoyable, especially the early ones.

dankrsta 01-04-2011 11:50 AM

Personally, I thought The Happening was hilarious, not sure if that was intentional. I heard Shyamalan in some interview said he wanted to make a B movie actually, well to make a movie that looks like some B movies from the 50s and 60s, I guess.

You just summed up my feelings exactly. While I do think his earlier stuff was quite a bit better, I've never seen a movie by him that I disliked.

Bulldog 01-04-2011 12:14 PM

I liked the Sixth Sense and Signs, and Devil's actually quite a good film too if anyone here hasn't seen that already. I only enjoyed the Happening as I thought it was hilarious. Like Dankrsta, I'm not sure if that was intentional or not.

The Last Airbender is absolutely terrible though. I hated the Village too, but I just hated how the plot resolved itself rather than on any technical level though.

bob. 01-04-2011 12:18 PM

i actually have to agree....i thought the Sixth Sense was a great movie and so was Signs....althought the twist in The Village was a bit silly...it was still a rather intense film...as for the Happening i was kind of bleh.....i saw it in the theater and basically just wished i had waited for video....i have not seen his other movies and to be honest i'll probably never see "The Last Airbender"....i just have no interest

i think i'll jump on the Highlander 2 bandwagon hatred :)

dankrsta 01-04-2011 12:21 PM

Don't forget Unbreakable. That movie was OK. I don't mind The Village. It has good moments. He certainly knows how to make an atmosphere, but I feel a story is somewhat rushed.

I love Unbreakable. That and The Sixth Sense are definitely my favorites by him.

bob. 01-04-2011 12:46 PM

i have not seen it....no real reason why...i've never really heard anything bad about it....just forgot :)

Welcome aboard. It's a pretty big wagon.

someonecompletelyrandom 01-04-2011 12:57 PM

See, you guys haven't even mentioned Lady in the Water. I presume it's because you've been trying to forget about it.

dankrsta 01-04-2011 12:59 PM

^^Haha! :) Well, in my case, I haven't seen that one. Should I bother? No?

That's probably my least favorite of the movies I've seen by him but I still thought it was okay.

someonecompletelyrandom 01-04-2011 01:05 PM

M. Night plays a writer who the critics hate yet his material will someday change the world and he's basically the savior of humanity. Also, the movie critic in the movie gets eaten by a swamp monster.

I think this is M. Night's psyche coming to the fore.

Bushidosniper 01-04-2011 01:27 PM

I've heard the movie Skyline was HORRID

Also, I hated Iron Man 2 with a passion(but the first one was good :D)
