Still gotta get on season 3. At this point I think I'll just wait for the February DVD release.
Assuming their sticking to the books, no, that Dragon is flying over one of the free cities. To date, in the books, Danny hasn't hit Westeros yet.

^ Yeah, I know. It's been a while since I saw the show but that looks like King's Landing to me. If it is, I'm assuming it's a dream sequence or something. People who don't read the books are probably losing their minds over that shot right now.

While it might not be directly GoT related, it still looks awesome - the upcoming olympics promo, looks like the winter came already And it's narrated by the man himself, Tywin Lannister. Doesn't get much better than this:

Is this any closer? I still feel like they're casting a white guy for a role that is calling for a browner shade of awesome.

Spoiler for spoilers:
by this point in the book all i had for Sansa was a deep sympathy....which changed from simple annoyance...but in this simple gesture i felt that she exhibited something that all of her other siblings do not (or did not)....a strong sense of loyalty to her arms and family....i'm not saying that Robb, Arya, Bran, or Rickon (although he may be to young) don't at some point express a deep sorrow and feeling for vengence....they all did in some way....but they were all so caught up in their own bullshit that they forgot what this was really all about.....Robb fell in love and suddenly became a king, Bran is slowing becoming a tree, and Arya...well she's just a fucking narcissist

i also keep in mind that Sansa and Sansa alone saw what happened to her father....i think the emotion of that really comes out in this scene

at the same time it also shows that she is not as safe as she thought and that everyone around her is still attempting to manipulate her into becoming what they want of her.....Peter's kiss

and at the end she finally shows some real fire.....turning on Robert and pushing him into a fit

basically i feel that this character was specifically set up to be likable but somewhat annoying in her obvious ignorance....and almost forgettable

then tortured in such a way that only sympathy could be given to her

and by doing that the author has created what i think will be by the end one of the strongest players in this story

i think that this scene is the beginning of that strong character

Spoiler for Rebuttle:
Arya didn't see her father killed? I was pretty sure she did.

Also, I agree Rob is an idiot, but Bran doesn't have legs, so what more do you want from him? He thinks he can resolve things by exploring the Raven, and when he sees through time, he sees his father. I don't think he's forgotten.
