So are you going to copy/paste these in the other thread or am I going to have to do it for you?

41. Social Unrest - The Complete Studio Recordings Volume 1 (1995)

Social Unrest is one of those early hardcore bands that really stick out as something different....coming out of Hayward CA which is basically Oakland....there really is something unique about the frantic guitar work....furious drumming and desperate anger in the vocals...while still being a great example of the evolution of punk into what i would call American Hardcore

this being the first of 2 volumes release on New Red Archives.....it ranges from early straight hardcore classics to almost "PIL-esque" songs with "I Love You"....songs range from political distress to suicidal thoughts and heartbreak to misanthropic thoughts on population

this is definitely great and historical punk rock that in my opinion somewhat slipped through the cracks of popular bands from this era....

42. Firewater - Get Off the Cross... We Need the Wood For the Fire (1996)

This is the first album after Todd A. left the amazing CopShootCop...in many ways is an extension of what was going on there....this however is not noise rock in any way....really it feels like a Cabaret band for seriously depraved and murderous people

lyrically....this just takes off right where he left with CopShootCop....depraved, misanthropic, dirty, and often mocking religion....although very poetic and often ironic.....there is also splashes of lost love and let down....as well as social criticism

musical.....there seems to be everything but the fucking kitchen sink in here....still a bit of edge from his noise rock days...but also strong middle eastern influence...and again that dingy cabaret feel....these songs would be a great background track for a movie based off of a Bukowski novel

best part is this album simply rocks from second 1 till the very end

43. Elliott - U.S. Songs (1998)

a somewhat over looked band that help to mold what we now call emo....or at least the mid west style of emo

This is their debut album and honestly...at least in my opinion is easily five star material here...every song drips with exquisite song writing....and while certainly being more emo than hardcore....they don't let those roots steer to far....so maybe a more emotional Unwound

Chris Higdon's vocals are uique and strong....actually in my opinion some of the best vocal in the genre....and his lyrics are piercing and deep....

this is drive across the country type music ....turned all the way up with the windows down
