I'm finally getting around to giving Roxy Music a listen. For some reason they never really landed for me until now but they have some nice tracks.

I know what you mean, they're not to everyone's taste. I have a friend who shares my obsession with Bowie, Iggy, Suicide, postpunk and that entire world, but I could never convert him into Roxy Music... There's something pretty mannered about the singer's delivery but personally I enjoy it.

My first Roxy album was Stranded, their first post-Brian Eno album and it's still one of my favorites. Just a really, really fun rock album.

The one I've been really obsessed with is their second and final album with Eno, For Your Pleasure. For me it's one of the great albums. It's their most experimental record and the experiment works.
