I never said it takes talent to win. I just said it was a big deal if you are into Eurovision

I don't know, but I'll say good riddance to that.

Celine Dion won Eurovision for Switzerland in 1988 with this song..that's a pretty big deal (if you are into Eurovision like me ):

The greatest song ever to be performed on Eurovision was "L'amour Est Bleu" sung by Vicky Leandros representing Luxembourg in '67. The fact it came in fourth only proves that Eurovision isn't what it's all cracked up to be.

Vicky - L'amour Est Bleu - ESC 1967

A close second place GOAT (greatest of all time) Eurovision song would be Waterloo by ABBA, which won the contest in '74. Third GOAT Eurosong would be Françoise Hardy '63 entry. They are probably the only Eurovision entries I really know of, so it's a very bias list. But any other song besides I'd ever from Eurovision was very blah to me.

Haha. Artists like Bob Seger and Tom Petty were still making rock n roll in the 80s so you don't have to be that old to miss it.

I always preferred these.

EUROVISION 2009 WINNER -NORWAY ALEXANDER RYBAK FAIRYTALE

Not the version that she won with but the version used at the melodifestivalen in Malmö.

And don't forget "Hard rock Hallelujah" by Lordi and "Volare" or Dana international...the list goes on and on. And Sweden won again this year. And Eurovision will be held just down the street from me. Dreams can come true

Okay. Back to your diva bashing and what not.

I get the feeling I'm happy that I don't know what Eurovision even is.

I first heard about it a year ago when everyone was losing their minds over this guy taking first place. The butthurt was real.
