I don't think that all the Ramones albums combined are nearly as good as Nevermind the Bollocks.

too right although NASA are trying to uncover ways to determine which band is better and are at the final few stages which will uncover what exactly happened just before the big bang of punk rock.
some say it was nothing at all and others think it was crappy prog rock!!!!
I love the ramones probbaly more then any living being but you know when you watch tele about the era and it shows the pistols doing god save the queen suddenly it is so brilliant like you just want to jump up.
that is what for me pushes the pistols in front.
I also love silly thing and sids version of something else on rock and roll swindle.

To be absolutely truthful, both bands are hopelessly over rated. Both bands seemed to capture the zeitgeist and did well out of it. For all my love of Punk's energy, Post-Punk is where it's at for me.
