How is this even a contest, London Calling without a doubt.

It's gotta be London Calling, though Sandanista! really expanded their sound in fantastic ways.

London Calling - Hands down, the best Clash album. I'd probably even put London Calling in my top 10 albums of all time.

...even though it's not their best album, stay free has a lot of sentimental value for me, so "give em enough rope".

Sandinista was amazing, Super Black Market Clash, Give 'Em Enough Rope... but I love them all very much. I don't know if I could choose.

Combat Rock

London Calling. I think its one of the best albums in history.

London Calling, definitely. The Clash were never good at playing punk, so the debut is patchy as hell. Haven't heard much of Give Em..., and I don't really care to listen to the rest of it. Sandinista is overlong and plagued with awful attempts at everything, and Combat Rock is merely good.

Really, if you take London Calling out of their discography, it's surprising how flakey the Clash seem.

Janie Jones on it's own says you're wrong.
