I sincerely hope that no one will ever pick (or has picked) Cut The Crap. I don't think I could ever listen to that. I would probably cry.
Sandinista! is probably my favourite Clash album and I think it's probably their strongest if you can deal with (or skip) the dubs and the annoying "i-want-a-triple-album-so-we're-making-a-triple-album" songs (Shepherd's Delight, obvzly) Thanks Mick! |
I can't stress how underrated Combat Rock is! The singles from London Calling are better, but as a whole Combat Rock is far superior.
|
I don't like a lot of the songs on Combat Rock. Some of them could've been substituted with the Rat Patrol From Fort Bragg versions or... stuff like Kill Time and The Beautiful People Are Ugly Too...
|
The one with Allen Ginsberg makes up for any mistakes on the album. But Sandinista! is the best, and that's the way it is.
|
Is that so? I'll have to give it another listen, I suppose....

Allen Ginsberg's contributions are pretty hilarious though. |
It's a great one.
edit: Hey tumor, maybe you'd have more credibility if you could spell Genocide right. ;) |
Umm... who voted for Cut the Crap? Have you ever listened to the clash? Anyways, London Calling hands down. While I really enjoy their debut as a punk album, but I love the diversity of London Calling. They covered quite a few genres on there, and did all of them expertly with some nice punk infused classic Clash sound. One of my favorite albums of all time.

I just downloaded the discography, but i've only heard the debut album and London calling, so i won't vote now.
but on the two, i prefer London Calling. |
To be cliched, London Calling is my choice for best. Combat Rock a close second though.
