I agree he is talented and can do good things for rap. But his live show was all about fireworks and jumping around on stage. Personally, id rather listen to his Cd then see him live. He just didnt sound very good. But thats my opinion...

Also- im not a huge rap fan so i probably miss the details that you all notice that set him apart in your eyes

Kanye is an incredible artist. Like pretty much everything he has done, but "Watch the Throne" was dire.

808's is a bit weak tbh. Graduation is quality.

I dunno, I enjoyed 808s. The production is top notch.

I actually haven't listened to any of his music since the song "stronger" was a hit. I'm surprised he isn't more popular.

His production skills have definitely improved. He's just gone from rapper to pop songwriter. Nothing wrong with that, but to say he's a lyricist now is a bit delusional.
