All music is progressive by its very nature FFS. Shut up.

Listen to Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five's "The Message" and Run DMC's "Raising Hell". Then move on to Wu-Tang Clan's "36 Chambers" and Nas' "Illmatic". Then give Pharoahe Monch's "Internal Affairs" and Common's "Be" a few listens.

Then try to tell me that hip-hop has never changed or diversified.

I'm not as heavily into electronica, but good God, you can't honestly believe that everything going on within the genre now is exactly the same as what Brian Eno was doing thirty years ago.

Prog Rock.
Got it people? Just because something is progressive doesn't mean it's rock, and Prog is about really pushing the limits, not slowly evolving.

"Prog" hasn't evolved any faster than anything else has, really. A handful of prog bands really have pushed limits, and many others essentially just copied those original bands. The same can be applied to most genres (well, sub-genres).

How many times do I have to say it. Copying Pink Floyd doesn't make you prog band.

Then you yourself are mixing up "prog rock" and "progressive", are you not?

Funnily enough prog is about being progressive.
