i downloaded both toxicity and mezmerize ( mezmerize is slightly better in my opinion ), this band is capable of writing some of the most beautiful and powerful rock balads ( the last part of chop suey still gives me the chills ) but they insist on cutting them with agressive parts, the melodic singalong parts are beautiful but then they start to scream ( sometimes it's rediculous and irritating, someone said that certain songs can get irritating, i agree )that might be a part of their charm, but i would realy like to see them do a couple of pure ballads....oh, and i like their pure agressive songs too ( shimmy is an excellent song ), i would just like them to keep the two separated...but like i say, that might be their charm
