I can understand why a lot of newer fans wouldn't dig it, but for anyone who remembers the Chili Peppers before they got their 2nd big commercial break and turned into radio darlings it's a nice slice of old school Peppers. Quote:
![]() You joined this forum to post that? Wow. Also, their cover of Whiskey in the Jar is abhorrent.

the ironic thing about the two i chose is that i hated them from the start. its not that they were overplayed....i just cant stand them.
i mean...you listen to Freebird and...its really not very good. the solo is fairly boring and repetetive....a lot of it is just them using a bunch of riffs over and over again as they slowly get faster granted...as a guitarist i'm not all that much better...but when i listen to the Allman Brothers i love how they take a riff and slowly make it mutate into something else stairway to heaven i just cant even get through. it bores me to DEATH |

Pearl Jam - Leash and Mankind. Absolutely atrocious.
AC/DC - Show Business. Bleeurgh! Guns 'n' Roses - Get In The Ring. Shocking. The Who - Going Mobile. What was all that about? Radiohead - Most of and anything after Hail To The Thief
