Medicine definitely kick a lot of ass. Not to mention that Shannon Lee was a member of the band (yep...Bruce Lee's daughter). Not that it really adds to the quality of the music, I just thought it was an interesting little factoid.

Japanese shoegaze is good and japanese.

Try checking out Hartfield too. It's some pretty mellow stuff so don't go expecting feedback out the ass.

Finally listened to Asobi Seksu's Citrus last night and all I can say is wow. From the minute I heard Strawberries I just wanted to kick myself for waiting so long to finally give it a spin. It's like Slowdive with some of the most gorgeous female vocals I've ever heard.

I see a lot of MB love for Japandroids but I haven't felt it myself. Maybe I need to give them another chance but every time I try it, I'm not interested enough to get through a whole song (I've tried several).

I just have to say that I downloaded Blonder Tongue Audio Baton and I was extremely pleased. I initially got it because I had nothing else to get, but the Swirlies have become one of my favourite bands. Thanks to whoever put them up.
