I honestly think the Abyssal album will win by a long shot

Yet you just said you think Dephosphorus is an easier listen.

It's easier to listen to an Adrenalin OD album than a motW album, but which is awesomer?
The Abyssal album is already praised pretty highly in the metal community, and I think most will find it much more epic and massive and all those adjectives.

I just like the Dephosphorus better, I listen to stuff like that more often.
I can find albums better (higher quality) than ones I enjoy more sometimes.

That's cool. The winner of the war is yet to be determined

My vote is going to Abyssal. I don't wanna get super into why really, but it's by a long shot, and I'm pretty sure I was mistaken in thinking I enjoyed Dephosphorus. It's a shame those vocals are so plentiful, that album would have been a dozen times more enjoyable if I didn't have to hear them so often. Not my bag, man, not my bag at all.

Abyssal: 2
Dephosphorus: 1

I still have yet to listen to these, plan to tomorrow.

But I think a general rule for this thread should be that the person putting on the war should be the last one to vote. In the event there is a tie, then that vote can be the deciding factor. If one band is running away with it, then throw your vote in. But I try to keep my vote for when the contest is close to ending.

Just a thought. Just so if we find ourselves tied, we won't have to wait for someone to hopefully show up and cast a vote to go to next battle after the week it is up. Can just cast the vote and move on.

I have to say, I'm struggling here. Really enjoying both of these albums to be honest. I think I need to give both a couple more listens before I can vote.

No problem. I didn't put that forward while I was up last time, so I do not expect you to be sorry for it.

I am sure we will be fine here. lol.

But yeah, I say for the future that is how we should do it.
