People talk about Deicide's second album, but I gotta go with the first.

I only have Legion, but that track definitely makes me want to check out the first one!

The first three Deicide albums are all worthwhile. Legion is the most virtuosic of the three, while the debut sounds like a more concise Scream Bloody Gore in some respects, whereas Once Upon the Cross tries to combine the concise nature of the debut with the exhiliration of Legion.

Legion is my stand by, though.

Bitches Sin playing Two of a Kind. Fun NWoBHM.

I think I might have to listen to this for a few more days.

I rather like that description. It does have a stripped down feel to it. It has the blast beasts and chaotic feel of death metal, but it's fine to sit on a riff, is pretty straightforward, and isn't afraid to be brutal and accessible.

I haven't listened that much metal, but to name a few:
-Nachtmystium, love the atmosphere of their songs, linked track for example. I have so far focused on Silencing Machine and Black Meddles pt. 1&2.

-Sólstafir, I had really hard time finding their songs and albums after listening them for example on Spotify, I mean ''Svartir Sandar'' wasn't that hard, but album like ''Í Blóði Og Anda'' or song ''Þín orð'' were bitches to find afterwards.

-Lamb of God, because killer basslines, fun to play

Relistening to this album for the battle. Sheer brilliance.

Sometimes all you want to listen to is low rent heavy metal. Jag Panzer will do nicely.

The Burial is the reason I've taken a liking to Fall of Efrafa. With a slow entrance and heavy sound, to climatic and ambient, this track is quite colourful. An unusual listen, nice.

Sólstafir - Masterpiece of Bitterness (2005)

I'm not sure why they went from Icelandic to English and back throughout their career but this is my favorite of the albums I've heard. Reminds me of 90s Neurosis.
