As far as groove metal/post-thrash goes modern Overkill absolutely ****s on Pantera and Machine Head.

Corpsecry - Angelfall by Sigh

One of the first songs I heard by Sigh. It's great but I've discovered a lot of better songs by Sigh since really checking through their discography.

This intro will make you dizzy. Possibly my favorite Orange Goblin song, ready as hell for summer and lazy fishing days!

^^ Wouldn't know where to start with favourite Goblin tracks but theres a few on their most recent album that have jumped the list for sure.

If theres one band people will get sick of hearing me talk about this year its Monolord. It's my favourite record so far this year and I'm going back to it tonight after resisting for a few weeks and it's still ****ing with my head a little.

Like the droning, riffy, rumbling baby of Dopesmoker and Witchcult Today.

I find this boring and kind of hard to listen to. Sorry. Also, the album is way too long.

I find it the best part of that album, by a long way.

In case you feel like listening to Reverend Bizarre... but don't actually wanna listen to Reverend Bizarre. These dudes have a more gothic-spacey sort of feel to them but it's definitely similar, especially vocals.
