Speaking of Obscura-type stuff what do you think of the new Gorguts? I'm digging it so far - it's just a single 30m track, but with quite distinct sections. Conceptually you could say it's like Meshuggah's Catch 33 but the sound is pure Gorguts.

It's sadly rare for brutal death metal to actually sound badass, but Benighted are one of the few and the proud. **** the **** yeah, Benighted!

Oh my god I can't believe I forgot just how amazing Nocturnus are. This is absolutely top notch old school death metal. That cover looks like a cross between the Terminator and MODOK though.
