Been listening to a bunch of famous metal comps today (some Metal Massacre, Grindcrusher, Relapse Records' Corporate Death, etc) and I'm on the 1995 W.A.R. Compilation - Volume One, and it's a great document of the early days of melodic death metal. This In Flames track from 1994 is pretty sweet.
