Bleh. What I've heard of djent has made me want to listen to none of it, and that is no exception. Just an attempt to make a ****ty genre sound smarter by making it more complex, without actually considering whether adding complexity or experimentation to deathcore was actually a good idea. A lot of bad music has been created by adding complexity for complexity's sake, and djent and progressive deathcore are perfect examples of this. I legitimately would rather listen to early Bring Me the Horizon and Despised Icon than The Contortionist. At least they're fun.
