Holy Diver is a great track. And Dio did it beautifully. The Killswitch Engage cover isn't bad either.

Mondo was not ****ing around when he mentioned this album. This is only like, my third or fourth psychedelic black metal album, but it's making me want to dig into the genre further as soon as I possibly can. There's like ****ing bits of surf rock and classic rock all over this and it's amazing.

I've come to the conclusion that compared to many of their more obscure peers, Converge were absolute pussies. They may have had many other things going for them besides ass kicking, but when compared to a band like Creation Is Crucifixion, it's like Iron Maiden standing next to Slayer. Assuming Slayer were basically a 90s hardcore band playing technical deathgrind.
