Can we not use "Pleasure Slave" as an example of good metal? It's false advertising.

Batlord, what do you think of Sadist? I've always been a huge fan of their 1991 debut Above The Light, and the way they counterbalance the guitars and keyboards whilst still being heavy as fuck is pretty impressive.

Started out today with something relatively new (I remember hearing it 3-4 years ago but only put it back on my phone this weekend - big ole' music swap):


I went to metal-archives to read some reviews on the record and one talked about how the drummer uses similar techniques to Flo on None So Vile. 'Slit Your Guts' started in my brain, couldn't resist. On 'Benedictine Convulsions' as I write this:
