umm where to start.. the fans make a band mainstrem in my eyes. most bands aree just bands at one point, record deal or not there are 100's of bands that have good deals and are still unknown. Buying there albums, going to there small opening act conert's and radio play tend to help get the band more known.

The Darkness, yes a very catchy band.. Galmour pop/rock. After listening to there two albums a few times each i've come to notice that they only really have one song that even comes close to being a Queen ripoff. I mean you can clearly see the Queen influence, but theyu don't try to hide that by any means. But you can also see the blame and simple 70's influence... by many pop act's and rock groups.

The thing with the Darkness is.. like other bands there just so easy to pick a part. There mainstrem cause there easy listening. The Singers voice is high and when he sings normal he still has a pretty amazing voice. either way this band the way they are.. there sound there look, in this day and age is very unknown.

And I don't really see what point you're trying to make so I'll expand on mine.

The Darkness, like any other mainstream band, are either a) talented - in that case they are just exploiting the fans and obviously don't give a **** about them because money comes first, or b) they're like the majority of mainstream bands and most probably couldn't even tell you what a chord is. They stick to a basic formula whom 90% of mainstream bands stick to (in their respective styles) and thusly makes them unoriginal.

I'm glad you're at least somewhat sane. It's almost as if everyone on MB hails boo boo for God knows why. Every argument we're in is objectively one-sided, and any moron should be able to see it (my side of course).

I will tell you your problem booey: you assume you know people on the ****ing internet. You believe I only praise one band, and then said something moronic about I need to make a general statement about another band that's not been asked of me??? If someone makes a thread with a band I like, of course I'm going to reply, but that hasn't happened yet. I don't understand how you can crucify me for something that's just plain ridiculous. Like I've said, I've mentioned many many other bands in my posts, you're just too feeble minded, delusional and arrogant to admit it.

Moreover, with that quote right there, you're pretty much indirectly saying that it's alright for you to insult someone's bands but it's not okay for anyone else, such hilarity.
