I don't know. But I do know that Cradle of Filth is one of the greatest international imports in the history of metal, thus turning me off to it instantly. I always get reminded of Dimmu Borgir every time Cradle of Filth is mentioned. Even though I haven't heard them yet, I know they suck.

As for right now, I have to take a dump. Have fun talking amongst yourselves.

I take it you've never heard Frightmare.

Well they were a little more progressive than many bands around at that time but they were tagged as a Thrash band. I could never get on with Krokus though. UFO were under rated. Good call.

Actually, I have seen that movie. The sound effects were so stupidly over the top it made the movie hard to take seriously even for a low budget film. Cat innards shouldn't sound like rubber bands.

About CoF, TBH, the band COULD have been better if it wasn't for their screwed up vocals.
And their Vempire EP is actually quite good. Having said that, most of their other stuff are pretty mediocre with cheesy keyboards and like i said, f*cked up vocals.
Their new single wasn't all that bad though...kinda going back to their roots, but seems uninspired. The solo was kickass, but the vocals have changed only a bit. Only their first two albums/Vempire EP are listenable.
Tragic Kingdom(new single)

As much as i dislike CoF and their fans myself, i would have to disagree with this. Listen to Vempire/Dusk and Her Embrace and you'll see they did have some good musicianship back then. It's just over time, when they changed their sound and sold out.(i just hate this term...but couldn't think of a better word atm)

It must be that sound that I'm accustomed to hearing. One of my good friends turned me onto Mastodon, Coroner, and Dog Fashion Disco a while ago and in that spirit I gave another recommendation of his a chance (COF). He ripped a few of their songs onto my PC and I gave them a try. I have not listened to them since. What a pile of inverted, self-glorifying tripe.
