Inside-Out

It feels as though I've been watching my life
through spare eyes
like my mind's worlds apart
and my personality's a disguise

Things I want to say are held back
due to fear of consequences
and though I don't like it
I see right through my own pretenses

Inside Outside
Upside Down
dig through smiling eyes
and you'll discover the frown

Upside wrong side
right side out
I do not care
for what your life is about

I'd like to believe that life isn't fair
or blame it on fate to avoid need for care
but I know I'm a liar, that it's not true
I need to become more see-through

I sometimes feel I am made of plastic
pretending to like who I'm told
it seems no measure is too durastic
when you're only living for gold

Left side right side
wrong side in
we all must stop
before we begin

each side all sides
no side out
we're losing human
of that there's no doubt

(a comment on humanity in general)

These are a million times better than mine, so shushh !
I'm pretty in love with the song inside out! It's magnificent! Also, I love how you HAVE views on the world at fourteen, most guys don't give a ****, and if they do, they don't talk about it. I'm going to try to write a song, not about love, and you're to thank. So, thank you! (: please keep this up! Your songs make me smile!

I really like inside out a lot. I aslo like magic box, but there's something about that kind of bugs me. I'm not really sure what. It might be that it's a little too random for me. BUT that's just my opinion, and I love a lot of your stuff,
