Ya I wouldn't worry, Darrelle will play.
Edit: I believe either Mike Bell or Mike Anderson (both nobodies) put up a 250 yard game on the ground once under Shanahan also. I wouldn't pick any of the 'skins current guys in a fantasy draft though. Because as individuals I doubt they will have significant numbers. I mean c'mon there is 3 of em who are decent guys who have put up huge numbers before. I really wanted to see Portis stay healthy and get 250+ touches though, I think he can still put up good numbers if he's healthy. |
Wow, I knew the Packers were going to be good this year. But how about that performance in the last couple minutes of the first half last night? I know the Colts D isn't the best, but it got them to the Super Bowl. It was like once they got clicking and Rodgers got hot, they couldn't be stopped.
Colts also looked good at times, especially the first quarter. Peyton looked good except for that one pick, but it was a spy, Peyton thought he was coming on the blitz so you can't blame him too much. Overall I saw a lot of goods things and it was great to see my 2 favorite teams play at the same time and on the same channel. |

I don't blame him for holding out, hes the best Corner in the league and they paid both their LT & C already, who are good yes but best at their respective positions in the league? I don't know bout that one...

Edit: They also just made Mangold the highest paid Center in the league, so what does that say to Revis? If you ask me its a big slap in the face. Corners are far more valuable than centers... |

I do understand what you're talking about. I'm just saying the league would/could be a better league with a little more balance if the salary cap rules were tweaked, not even necessarily changed. My general statement was in reference to all pro sports, and as trace said, the NFL is the most balanced of any pro sports. As far as Polian and Irsay "having it down", I agree with that for the most part , but at the same time they still don't have an RB that can put up numbers on a consistent basis to take some heat off Peyton. They still don't have a reliable O-line, and outside of Wayne, they haven't replaced Harrison with another marquee receiver. |

Revis has shown for one season that he is the best corner in the league, and now he is asking for the largest contract in NFL history ($160M). I realize that none of that is guaranteed, but still... Just because Al Davis overpaid Asomugha does not mean that Revis should be paid more than most elite QBs. Revis would make the D a wholeeee lot better, but I- like a lot of the team and coaching staff- am ready to move on without the dude if that's what he chooses. Cromartie and Wilson appear poised. |
