Depends on the angle and snap on the release.

It'll be awkward at first, but if you stick with it and start to build up proper form it gets better. Joining local clubs and leagues makes it more of a social thing too, and you can learn a lot from the seasoned players.

Then there's UDisc to find local courses, leagues, tournaments etc., it's a great little app: https://udisc.com/
Wow, yeah that’s far from here. I drove down to Brighton last year though which is irrelevant but I’m proud of it .

I am surprised it’s not more popular up here, is it more of an American thing?

You're welcome! I know it's a disincentive when, having achieved a certain level, you stop for a while, then discover yourself back at Square One. It's happened to me a couple of times, and tbh I never made it back to my previous intensity, but yeah, I just kept plugging away. These days, I have a couple of things I like doing and take a Soft Machine song title as my motto: "Slightly All The Time".
Yes I definitely would at the moment Lisna the weather is so bad just now which is also putting me off exercise. I’m hoping by the time the storm passes that I will feel more motivated.

I hate when you notice you have lost fitness I’m hoping I haven’t but I really won’t be surprised. I have 2 horse riding lessons to use from a block I got for my birthday, my last lesson was in November so I’ll probably be back to square one with that.

It started out in California in the 70's and was under the radar for the most part up until just these last few years, and even more so during the pandemic. It's finding its way across the globe though.

Here's a good look into the growth from 2020 with some world growth stats:

https://udisc.com/disc-golf-growth-report/2021

In the early 90's (around when I started playing), it was just a blip on the map of all things sports, but these days it's gaining more traction than I had ever imagined with the enormous dollar contracts from sponsorships going to some of the top players. I don't think it'll ever quite catch the level of revenue and payout that ball golf offers, but it's getting better for the pro's on tour that rely on winnings to keep themselves sustainable.

I hope you can see what it's all about some day. Stay safe with that red weather warning I've been seeing!

^ Walking is one of my favourite sporting activities:

It started out in Africa about 5 million years ago and was under the radar for the most part up until the last few million years. It's found its way across the globe though.

Got a little routine going, got a journal to log my workouts and progress. My mom bought it for me, and I am running to the park tonight/this morning.

Starting with sit-ups and push-ups. Might feel froggy and leap into the gym. mainly to use their machines.

Alright it is currently March 6. Starting the countdown to when you throw out your back.

I cant with sit-ups and push-ups and running...the times I would throw my back out was when I would start lifting the weights I have here.

I'm not doing any weights, just going to try and do as many sit-ups as possible and eat less. Plus run to the park and back, chill at the park for like 10 mins and come back.

Batlord, I also started just laying on the ground, holding onto a curl bar with weights and bringing my knees up and works out the core great.

I mean you don't ever adopt sensible, responsible exercise regimes, you just go until you hurt yourself for short term endorphin rushes so I'm comfortable in my shade throwing.
