I think "overrated" is a word that's being thrown around a bit too often as of late. Seems like anything someone doesn't like is automatically "overrated". It can get pretty irritating at times. There are fans of pretty much every band/artist that think they're the greatest ever, and there'll always be people that disagree wholeheartedly. So I guess, in a way, everything's overrated. But I just choose not to call anything "overrated" anymore. I mean, I don't like Fall Out Boy, but I'm sure somebody out there has their reasons for thinking that they're the greatest band on the planet. Doesn't matter to me.

I don't know how that band is overrated. They pretty much created Heavy Metal with Black Sabbath.

I have to agree with the above. Zeppelin is far from overrated. Plant, Page, Bonham, and Jones, alone have more talent than most bands today.

Yeah, they helped create heavy metal, but I just never saw the big deal about them as far as their music went.

Well, as someone already pointed out, their musicians are all top notch individually. O f course that doesn't always make you a great team/band. Like all great bands, Led Zeppelin respected each other's creative spaces, and each individual member explore their creativity and comingled it onto an album to create some of the best sounds everd
