I like a good Western too but I always thought that it was a weird genre when compared to how we group other films together. It's not a very sustainable or ambiguous one either.

Interesting. I thought that it was solid enough with some very poignant moments but that it didn't do enough to separate itself from pretty much any other coming of age film that I've seen before. I feel like 12 years should have been enough to come out with something that's special in more ways than just taking 12 years to make.
