This has been going on since the get-go in America. When I was a kid my dad told me his pistol was always loaded and if he saw anyone ****ing around our house he’d kill them. Then he said there’s a loaded pistol in every house in this neighborhood and everyone thinks like I do so don’t go ****ing with anybody’s property.

That didn’t mean he just blasted at anyone who knocked on our door though but a lot of people grab their gun before asking “who is it?”
