Any talk of a god goes in one ear and out the other. I've never had to stand on a soapbox and officially reject the concept.

I'll tell you why I don't: Neither claim has met it's burden of proof. I'm not convinced because there is not sufficient evidence.

I'll just leave you with this. God is not a fable, you may consider the stories surrounding it's existence to be fables but the agent itself is not a story. Athiesm is the rejection of the entity/agent whatever, not the rejection of religious text.
