The power of the internet in modern times:-

Nevadad, 20 Sept, 2019: Storming of Area 51

Some three million people expressed an interest in raiding the US base "to see aliens" but only 75 turned up. Nobody attempted to enter the site and only one person was arrested - for urinating near the gate.

About 90% of insurance still leaves you with thousands of dollars in medical debt when you need to cash in.

And thus it all comes back to my original comment that started this on Denmark. Why reinvent the wheel when the Nordic model makes everyone happy and still provides the benefits of a capitalistic society?

I've suggested solutions to these problems before. I'm just pointing out that the vast majority of Americans don't share this burn-down-everything mentality precisely because they've done okay for themselves. If you really want to get nihilistic about it, all living things are slaves whether they think they are happy or not.

The legal U.S. population is (roughly) 329,513,047 at the moment. Therefore, the vast majority of people are well above minimum wage, no? This is based on what your showing me AND what I've already shown you.

Under $11 is dead broke all the time everywhere

Under $15 is dead broke anywhere worth living

One trip to the dentist, one ****ed up transmission, one broken bone away from below zero - that’s what it ****ing means and over time it catches everyone

Idk, but trying to explain away issues by saying that it only affects a minority reeks of uninformed privilege.

We're well aware that Americans are selfish and short-sighted morons.

Your chart's data also has no actual reference points for how many millions any of those demographics represent. It doesn't gel with actual data out there.

all workers 42%

That’s pretty goddamn clear to me

Lol dude, I've been down there. I get it, but I just can't be nihilistic about it.

One of the big reasons there's been a pushback against Sanders in favor of Warren right now is because there are millions and millions of people who are happy with the insurance plans their workplaces provide or plans they negotiated on their own. They want the ACA to be "improved" rather than have something like Medicare For All. That's reality for the majority across all demographics above that 2.3%.

Ant, your stat specified only people making exactly at or below minimum wage. After I got my first raise at BK after six months and was making $7.35 an hour does that make me one of your success stories?

And I don’t give a **** about your ignorant denialism

The truth is the ****ing truth

And the 2.3%? Dude seriously are you literate? Cause it seems like you can’t ****ing read.
