Louis CK on wanking without fair warning.

Did his victims survive?

The Batlord 11-10-2017 02:53 PM

I mean that's clearly the kind of overwrought, bull**** apology that celebrities give when they're forced too. Maybe he does feel that bad, but when I think of this I can't help but be uncomfortable now.

And after watching that again apparently what I mean by "uncomfortable" is so long as you're as hilarious as Louis CK I'm okay with you being a **** who came out of a ****'s ****. Jesus Christ that man is a douchebag genius.

What did he do? What are the facts.

He asked if they wanted to see his knob and then he had a wank?

These stories are true. At the time, I said to myself that what I did was O.K. because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true.
That was a smart apology. It’s no crime to wank with permission.

Props to Louis C.K. for admitting his guilt.

What good is masturbating in front of a woman? Is she supposed to get aroused and ask you to have sex with her? Just an odd move that's not in my play book lol.

Different strokes.

I’m surprised and disappointed HBO took his show off on demand. Huge overkill. It doesn’t make him less funny. This is out of hand. Every show they have has people who did stupid things involved. And he asked first. He asks. They agree. Then they bitch about it and he loses work. That’s crap.

So all he did was invite girls back to his room, ask if they wanted to see his knob and then wanked?

Yay! That's a relief.

Bet she's relieved too.

That is a basic manly instinct and a rite of passage for powerful men. We've lost Cosby, CK, and countless others to this crusade. And the heads have only begun to roll, my friend. We are going to see all of our heroes torn down by scandalous hoes before it's all over.

It reminds me of that old children's book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie..

Are you defending Bill Cosby?

Nah, his whole act was based on what a nice guy he supposedly was. The suspension of disbelief is gone and his whole schtick is tainted. Chuck him over the boat.

Exactly, Louis CK being pervy doesn't really change anyone's opinion of him, whereas Bill Cosby's entire body of work has been ruined.

The art and the artist are inextricably linked in comedy, so it's entirely relevant what the artist has done.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-11-2017 02:23 PM

wanker or not, Louis CK is one of the best comedians on the planet. i swear to god if an accusation against Bill Burr comes out next I’ll be done for good.

rubber soul 11-11-2017 02:31 PM

It's always hard to see your idols fall. I guess you do have to have to separate the real person from the work sometimes. It took me a long time for me to accept the fact that Cosby was a louse and I can't watch his shows or listen to his comedy records which I loved as a kid, mostly because of the hypocrisy more than anything else.

Maybe history will judge him and others a little differently. I guess we'll see.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-11-2017 02:33 PM

honestly if i like the art i couldn’t give a **** about the artist, but there’s definitely a weirdness to it with a comedian. it’s not like it’s a movie or a song, they get on stage and share their life with you. it will never change my appreciation for Louis CKs material, but i think it will always linger in the back of my mind when i watch his stuff.

i mean the stories about him calling women and them hearing him jack off in the background are a little bit... uncomfortable. i honestly don’t see him in the same light as anyone else being accused atm though. i don’t think it’s that he’s a bad person, he’s not a rapist, it sounds like he needs some help. counciling or something. but that doesn’t exactly make his actions excusable.

Trollheart 11-11-2017 02:41 PM

I think the real question here is, who the **** calls women broads in this century??? :yikes:

OccultHawk 11-11-2017 02:44 PM

People are horrible. Whatever you enjoy that’s created by people was made by a horrible person. The computers we’re all using wouldn’t exist without third world slavery and environmental degradation.

Oh I’m so upset that Louis C.K. showed his dick. Meanwhile just the product that is a TV show involves so much destructive **** it’s unimaginable. The energy consumption, the space, the exploitation of privilege that lets you watch TV, the TV itself on and on.

The sports we like. The music we like. The clothes we wear.

Get the **** over it.

None of us are any better.

**** this ****. I got one criteria. Do I like it? **** judging the person. We’re all ****.

Let's put it this way. What if someone slipped a date rape drug to your sister, would you still be a fan?

BTW: I never was really a fan of Bill Cosby, he was just someone I respected at one time.
