at least to my ears

What qualifies as a scandal to your ears

Hey don't say that... :(

Frownland 11-09-2019 11:10 AM

I'd call the go back to your country hullabulloo a pretty qualified scandal.

nah that was just political fodder..

I think a scandal would involve getting caught in a crime or unethical(for the president) situation

Which is what Trump has done

Video footage of Trump sucking Pence’s ding dong after Pence just went balls deep in Ivanka’s anus with Melania filming and yelling “World Star!”

It's not the definitive definition and you know it

Chula Vista 11-09-2019 11:25 AM

The Constitution only lists two specific high crimes for a president in regard to the office.

Treason and Bribery.

This is bribery clear as day.

Ukraine, if you want the US $400 mil of aid, go on national TV and say "Corruption" and "Biden". Toss in "Clinton" and "DNC" for bonus points.

OccultHawk 11-09-2019 11:30 AM

Has the House subpoenaed Trump yet?

Frownland 11-09-2019 11:32 AM

Pretty sure that legally it would be considered extortion, not bribery.

Ya learn something new every day.

Quote:

Because bribery and extortion have many elements in common, it is easy to misconstrue one as the other, but important not to. Both are criminal offenses and both involve the exchange of money, property, or services, but the manner in which the exchange occurs and the parties involved often vary depending upon the nature of the crime. A charge of extortion, for instance, need not involve public officials to be made, whereas bribery as a criminal offense involves those employed by the Government, mostly, along with certain clear provisions for cases of bribery in business.

Foreign aid always comes with a catch I’d imagine

That’s what that one guy said in the press conference basically

Like when trump said Putin isn’t the only killer and it was like gasp except since it’s true the gasps were a little more like sighs

OccultHawk 11-09-2019 11:38 AM

Oh **** Chula quoted something Frown damn

Very true.

This 'catch' went too far.
Which is why Bolton referred to it as a drug deal.

Did you read the statement Bolton's lawyer put out yesterday?
Bullets are being sweat.

yea you're right I was only trying to keep the bar high cause OH said the whole exortion deal with Ukraine isn't a scandal, so you bringing up something that was less of a scandal caused me to dismiss its scandalousness. Although I must insist that the Ukraine scandal makes your scandal look like a 2 bit whore on Hollywood Blvd.

OccultHawk 11-09-2019 11:41 AM

Bolton the guy with the gay pride mustache?

A government official ate a Twix this morning and gave half of it to another government official. Bribery, clear as day.

He was threatening to withhold money that was already going to be sent to Ukraine, the money wasn't something that Trump introduced as a gift for his actions. Dishonestly read into definitions all you like but that's a very distinct element that differentiates bribery from extortion. An argument for treason could be made though.

OccultHawk 11-09-2019 11:52 AM

Extortion sounds just as nasty as bribery to me but I didn’t write da c-untstahtooshun

Frownland 11-09-2019 11:53 AM

Pretty much.

it doesn't matter cause it doesn't even have to be an actual crime

It can be a simple abuse of power

Murica LOVES reality TV. That's how Trump got the gig.
And this upcoming show isn't shackled to a single network.

Live on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, FOX, HLN, CBSN, ......

And then all of the juicy highlights shown repeatedly on all of the same networks. Over and over again, getting seared into the minds of dullards everywhere.

This is going to be better than if Honey Boo Boo was named CEO of Duck Dynasty.

The GOP, "Ukraine eventually got the money and Trump didn't get the dirt"
defense petered out pretty fast. Even JJ had trouble with that one.

^ I think a lot depends on the aid and the catch: Trump was holding back cash that had already been allocated by Congress (= American people), the delay increased risk to US national security and the catch was to benefit not the US, but Trump's political chances. Trump was sticking his dirty paws in when he should've just passed the money across that oval office desk of his. If Trump was a bank teller and acted the way he did, he'd be out the same day.
Plus that whole "Any country can interfere in US elections " bit.

**** that kid.
And **** everyone who thinks the sub should have to let kids **** all over her all day long. Love the bonus boot stomp. And the cries from that white girl. Sounds like she’s dying lulzzz

The Batlord 11-11-2019 08:03 AM

Wait so if the kid hits you first you still get charged with assault? I'm sorry a 16-year-old is not defenseless. **** that dumb twat who probably thought she was untouchable cause she was underage. Honestly I'm just impressed by that efficient beatdown. Three hard punches and then taken the **** down with a head stomp as the coup de grace. That's somebody who doesn't fight. They end ****.

OccultHawk 11-11-2019 08:06 AM

Also love that comments on youtube almost unanimously support the teacher.

The news people are like omg hit a child. The “child” who’s ****ing 16 hit the teacher first. Surprise you got a reaction from someone who dgaf. Haha.

The punches were cool, but the head stomp is going to get her in trouble.
