Trump is seriously screwing himself over with these comments about the "Mexican Judge" presiding over his Trump University case.

I get that the judge has connections to La Raza and probably does have a bias against Trump because of his political views, but Trump could have just plainly stated that instead of "he's Mexican, and we're going to build a wall."

The worst thing about this is that he was starting to clean up his speech and rhetoric for the general election, and then he goes and does this. I know not having a filter is part of Donald's appeal, but dude needs to know when to watch his words.

You're under the assumption that this wasn't Trumps plan all along. He knows he's screwing people with the way he's speaking but he does it because he knows people will praise him for it. His out of the box, extreme commentary throughout his speeches has for some reason made an impact on people, and he's continuing to feed off it.

He knew people would cling to his extremist attitude, so he went for it, and now he's the nominee for the Republican presidency.

Well, it didn't take very long after Tuesday for Sanders to start leaning towards Clinton, saying he will do everything in his power to insure that Trump is not the next president. He's concede after the DC primary and then start campaigning for her in earnest.

Did anyone hear Warren's tirade against Trump yesterday? Wow!

Quote:
“Donald Trump says they ought to look into Judge Curiel because what Judge Curiel is doing is a total disgrace,” Ms. Warren said Thursday night in a speech to the American Constitution Society, addressing Mr. Trump’s attack on a federal judge, Gonzalo P. Curiel, based on his Hispanic heritage. “No, Donald, what you are doing is a total disgrace. Race-baiting a judge who spent years defending America from the terror of murderers and drug traffickers simply because long ago his family came to America from somewhere else. You, Donald Trump, are a total disgrace.”

Ms. Warren has not confined her attacks on Republicans to Mr. Trump. She engaged Senator Mitch McConnell, the majority leader, this week on the Senate floor when she tried to single-handedly move to confirm some judges Republicans are blocking.

“The Senate’s job is to provide advice and consent on the president’s judicial nominees,” Ms. Warren lectured as Mr. McConnell was forced to look on, before objecting. “There is no asterisk that says only when the majority leader has an embarrassing political problem or except when the president is named Barack Obama,” she said.

This spring, Ms. Warren, 66, embarked on a long string of ornery slaps at Mr. Trump on his favored forum, Twitter, calling his candidacy a “serious threat” and calling him “a loser.” She also called him out directly in one Twitter message that said: “Your policies are dangerous. Your words are reckless. Your record is embarrassing. And your free ride is over.”

Mr. Trump, whose thin skin becomes almost translucent when attacked on social media, responded by calling Ms. Warren “the Indian” and “Pocahontas” in reference to her disputed Cherokee heritage.

It's because it sparks a conversation and name recognition is everything.

Exactly. I do wonder about the sanity of Trump supporters but people can't act like Trump wasn't aware of what impact he'd have on people from the start. If Trump acted normal, people wouldn't have bothered supporting him.
