No it's not, because it solves absolutely nothing. That's my entire point. It actually detracts from issues that do matter, I don't understand why this is difficult to understand.

We shouldn't aspire to the tactics of Trump as well (aka he did it first so we should examine him similarly.) That's just absurd to me.
^ Well, perhaps you can be the bigger man on this issue and walk away.

It must just be my own petty obsession; politicians misusing public funds really bugs me. By all means, let's move on to bigger issues, but let's call them out on those financially small-scale betrayals too. After all, the common man is held accountable for the small-scale stuff. "Didn't pay your internet bill? We're cutting your service!" We can't tell the internet guy, "It's not a lot of money and there are more important issues to worry about." I say hold politicians to the same standard.

I think it's a fair put down to let the record show Trump ****ing sucks in yet another way, only because he cried about Obama's golf

Even if it's hardly a real issue

^ OK, I'll stand down on the issue of fairness for the moment, DWV. I'm too tired to think that point through...

I suppose I posted my initial grumble about Trump's golfing, etc. because it rankled with me as an example of hypocrisy. I'm aware my posts aren't going to solve anything, but media attention can improve politicians' conduct, can't it?

Issues that do matter? Yes, I'm more than happy to move on to those - but on another day if that's ok. It's bedtime where I live.

How are all my favorite communists hhhhhmmmm?

Anteater 04-03-2017 10:12 PM

So apparently there are liberal college students out there who think Trump is a Socialist...

Frownland 04-03-2017 10:16 PM

So apparently Hypeline news thinks that Nazi Germany practiced socialism just because of their label...

Instead of resorting to your usual off the cuff retorts, how about we discuss the actual subject matter and why it's so important to nip it in the bud now, rather than letting it continue to fester and grow like a cancer? With the country and individual ideals paying the bottom line price.

Ahhh, **** it. I don't stand a chance in hell with this crowd. Fire away kiddies.

Ironically enough, the Nazis might have actually been Socialist in a lot of ways without realizing it. There's some interesting data out there available.

Weird how you can have some aspects that you regularly find outside of socialism in your system and not actually be socialist huh. Kind of like how you wouldn't call America a socialist nation because of our roads, schools, and financial assistance for the rich.

And I assume you understand how little credibility that source and writer are so I'll leave that alone, but you couldn't tell from the language that that was some biased nonsense? I thought choirs knew when the preacher was jabbering at them.
