don't even bother it's really rough stuff man, like the demo for the mixtape. That gucci gucci single is the only stuff she has with real production so far.

djchameleon 05-31-2011 01:36 AM

okay I will wait it out then....I'll pass

Sparky 05-31-2011 01:38 AM

here it is anyway though Download Mixtape Kreayshawn - Kittys X Choppas - DJ Woogie

The cover art should give you some idea how much work went into this, even if it is adorable.

Well said Antonio although I'd like to highlight that it's just the Hip-Hop industry, this stuff is so integrated into Western society as a whole.

You know why? it's called white privilege.

Being black isn't a huge part of my individual identity but it's constantly thrown in my face all of the time because humans as a whole are superficial. If I walk into a store, I get stared at like I'm going to steal something. When you have to deal with racism on a daily basis then you will think differently about it.

Ever thought you were imagining people are staring at you? Or that it had nothing to do with your skin color? Maybe it's time to stop using your race as the go-to assumption any time your faced with any sort of adversity.

I'm not saying you don't have to deal with racism, I'm sure you do run across it. On a daily basis, I very much doubt. Unless you count people looking at you as racism...

if you read my follow up post you will see that I said it's a small part of what I have to deal with.

you make it seem like I'm just pulling the race card because I can....whatever

Ok, then you get called the N-word to your face on a daily basis? What is the skin color of the offender? I'm just curious about your experiences, by the way.

Sparky 05-31-2011 01:47 PM

i doubt djchameleon is fishing for sympathy.

Racism is still extremely common, it's just a lot more passive. Hell,I'm guilty of it myself in some instances.

Not saying he is, I wanted to honestly know his experiences. I dont doubt people still stereotype about that, as retarded as it is.

I would be pretty surprised though if he got called a certain word by white people on a daily basis. Especially living in NY.

you know how big NY state is? there are so many damn small towns that it's damn near as racist here as it is in Texas for the same reason that Texas is almost as big as NY and has so many small towns.

Two towns away from me there is a big KKK chapter.

When you see someone lives in NY, all you think about is NYC.

No, I'm perfectly aware of upstate New York. And I'm fairly confident Texas is way bigger then NY, isn't it?

It's not as simple as that.

I don't want to get to personal, but lets just say I know a person named Tom.

Tom is at a job interview, but all the interviewer wants to talk about is "the wire", a joke about "dwb" "driving while black" which he thinks makes him sound cultured but really tom just wants a normal ****ing interview and hasn't heard of the wire or what its like in his local metropolitan ghetto.

It's that kind of stupid **** to deal with everyday

I meant to say it the other way around but yes Texas is bigger than NY even though NY is pretty big state though most people don't realize it and only think of NYC when NY is mentioned

Simple as what? I just said that I'm sure people have to put up with subtle racism all the time, frequently through stereotyping (the assumption that all black people are similar, as you're interview example showed).

Sparky 05-31-2011 02:05 PM

So then we all agree i think.....

I thought so as well but that's my first album that I have heard from Tyler, I haven't heard Bastard yet.

How does Goblin compare to Bastard? for those of you that have heard both?

The Virgin 06-01-2011 07:24 AM

I don't like Goblin. Their music is somewhat, hard to understand.

It's more consistent then Goblin, I don't grow bored of the second half of it like Goblin. It's less mainstream too. No reason not to give it a listen, though. I think it's slightly lesser then Goblin but still very good.

the only reason I haven't listened to Bastard yet is because I'm not quick to jump on the wolf gang bandwagon.

Same with Lil B. I'm not jumping on his bandwagon period though. I tried listening to this Mob whatever mixtape and it was so much torture for me. I just don't get him/it.

Bastard is good, worth checking out. I still like Goblin more overall, but Bastard definitely has some of his best verses on it.

Bastard is definitely the better of the two. It's hard to deal with the pressure of coming off a really hyped first release, and I feel like he tried a little too hard to be the cussing, badass rapist that he played on the first album. Bastard feels more organic to me and has way better verses all around, so it has the edge.

CHCl3 06-01-2011 12:24 PM

From what little I've heard so far of Bastard and Goblin, I am going to definitely say Goblin is the better album.

This might be a bit old news but the interaction between the news reporter and OFWGKTA is hilarious.

Hope the cop is alright though.

Listen to Bastard, it's a better album overall than Goblin. Lil B is just crap, don't understand people liking him.

I listened to Radical fairly recently and really didn't care for it at all. Is Radical a good representation of the other Odd Future albums?

Kirby 06-02-2011 01:50 PM

B.o.B. is supposedly taking more shots at Odd Future on "Am I A Psycho?"
His verse starts around 2:30

Edit: Diggin' this track, by the way.

Antonio 06-02-2011 02:01 PM

^ok....that is actually a diss you could take seriously

Sparky 06-02-2011 02:10 PM

Can one of yall tell me the disses? I've been listening but can't really make out anything targeting odd future really

FaSho 06-02-2011 02:54 PM

I dig the shoutout to Hank Hill though.

how do you NOT hear it? he mentions keep your name out of my mouth because of that one track when he gets mentioned in Yonkers I think it was.

He also calls them a bunch of minors later on so you KNOW he's talking about them.

Tyler, The Creator "She" (feat. Frank Ocean) on Vimeo

YES. That was awesome!

Alfred 06-03-2011 07:33 PM

billyjerome 06-03-2011 07:46 PM

After watching several more times, still so cool. Although, the random white boy is hilarious!!
