Still disproves your point.

Nah it wouldn't fit in because it's shitty music.

It takes more skill and talent to play, and not just merely play but write, those Godsmack samples of playing, than the Beatles.

Show me any video, solo or not, of Paul McCarnty exhiniting more skill than that.

My point was that thier music was lame, so it really doesn't. Also, it wasn't really a point it was hyperbole (only slightly though).

I Should Have Known Better, Come Together, Helter Skelter are a few.

Not a video but here's a picture of Paul McCartney smiling.

And still showing more skill than Godsmack have shown throughout their entire discography.

Uh, your point was that they couldn't get preteens to tap their feet. You still haven't scientifically proved that they're a 'lame' band.

Listen to I Want You (She's So Heavy) and then tell me he's not a good bassist.

McCartney is not only a technically accomplished bassist, but more importantly his style of playing was original and inspired many other bassists to stand out more.

And bass solos only work in jazz, funk and music influenced by it. You know, when the bass is important enough. Whenever metal bassists try to do it its just laughable.

He's still not said what Godsuck have done that's so great to eclipse The Beatles.

And yet, thier music is still more lame.

ProggyMan 05-10-2008 11:17 PM

Why? Since you have no argument besides how loud they master their bass...
