naaa my point is a lot of nu metal bands there guitar riffs are pretty much the same has a lot Alt rock bands and now even metalcore bands and Hardcore bands

Drums are drums

and the bass the only thing new brought to the table was slapping and stratching the strings and that's even new a lot of blues artist slapped the old big wood stand up bass guitars

I guess if a band adds a DJ or a sampler and raps some verses then yeah that's just a style labeled has Nu metal

Then this wouldn't sound out of place on a nu metal song then?

If it weren't for Anthony Kiedis (sp?), RCHP would be amazing. Unfortunately, neither of those things are a reality.

He fails miserable every time he tries to really sing. Dude's got a terrible voice and sense of pitch.

Granted i'm not a huge fan of them any longer, but AK is the perfect singer for the Chilli Peppers. He spends more time rapping then he does on vocal melodies, but I think his baritone vocals are perfect for their overall sound.

Now imagine if they added a puertorican to the band.

I think Kiedis is the one who brings the pop sensibility to the group maybe without him RHCP would be too progressive to be a chart topping group.

Also **** him for comparing himself to Mike Patton. Don't flatter yourself, Keidis.
