I do like the bigger variety on that one, but I think People's lyrics and themes hit a little harder. You can never really go wrong with any Jihad so it's all good anyways.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I don't like Remain in Light.

That's their best one as far as I believe.

I haven't listened to any of their other releases, so I'm not sure if it's the album I don't like, or maybe just the band in general, but it sure seems to be universally acclaimed.

Check out Stop Making Sense and if you don't like that, well there's just no hope for you.

The next one I'll be listened to is the one in the New Wave battle, we'll see if that's any more enthralling.

I used to thnik Loveless was extremely overrated. Well I listened to MBV to get more uses to their style a couple moths later. So I played Loveless again, and I got why it was so good.

Basically, you may just need to get more used to their style before you can get why people love it or before you can like it. That's something I do to get used to bands more easily.

I agree, for sure. I think it's because, for me personally at least, I typically go into "classic" albums with a preconceived notion of how it will/how it should sound, and more often than not, it doesn't sound how I would expect.

With that being said, I feel I've given the album more than enough chances, and it still hasn't grown on me in the slightest, but I'm looking forward to going back to it after hearing more of their material.

I'd say two or three more albums. In my case, I kinda liked Talking Heads on the first listen, but I still found them overrated. The other two I heard barely came close. Either way, I'm looking forward to Speaking in Tongues.
